To be responsible is to be independent and accountable. Teams work well together when we all take our responsibilities seriously. 

Examples of being responsible include: 

Attendance:
Missing class/rehearsal as little as possible

Preparation:
Being ready to dance as soon as class begins. Coming to class on time., already dressed in proper dancewear/shoes.

Effort:
Making a sincere effort to do your best work

Respect:
Respecting others, AIM property and AIM rules.

Participation: 
Being an active listener and participating in classroom discussions. Answering questions when the teacher asks them. 

Organization:
Organizing your time well, such as making sure to review rehearsal videos and knowing choreography prior to coming to class (goes hand-in-hand with Preparation).

Attitude:
Maintaining a positive attitude always. Being cooperative and considerate. 

Help:
Asking questions when you don't understand and seeking help when needed. 

Behavior: 
Taking ownership for your own behavior. Think before you act and be aware of what environment you're in. 

Communication:
Teams work better when everyone can communicate comfortably and effectively. Part of AIM's mission statement is to provide a nurturing, self-expressive and supportive dance environment....But we can only do that with YOUR communication!
